Thank you for visiting this Website.

We study and practice Shinbu (Shinto sacred dance) in Tokyo, Japan.

We create our original sacred dance.

We also hand-craft Japanese traditional goods

using japanese Washi paper and Mizuhiki strings with our sincerity.

We tell the essence of Shinbu (Shinto sacred dance) through such our activities.

We will also hold a Shinbu and hand-craft workshops.

What is Shinbu (Shinto sacred dance) and original Shinbu?

Modern Shinbu,

known as shrine maiden dances and ritual dances,

were established by the Shinto Shrine Association

after the Meiji period in the 19th and 20th centuries.

The music and choreography are based on gagaku,

a form of Japanese music that was introduced 1,500 years ago.

The dance is dedicated by shrine maidens and shinto priests

at Ise Jingu and other shrine rituals.

Our original Shinbu (sacred dances) are created

with the feeling of dancing before a god,

imbued with a sacred essence.

Each dance has a specific theme,

and the theme is express through the dance.
